| Yea I'm fancy |
This weekend, instead of staying in and mourning the lost of my former life, filled with weekly shopping sprees, my girl friends and I decided to make the best of it. We live in Paris! Why should we be sad?( other than the fact that after a time, Paris, as wonderful as it is, becomes like any other big metropolis.) We all went over, to chez F's and had a night filled with Gin Fizz's and nail polish, and once the fumes had settled and the alcohol drained, we went down to Le Marais. Once, known as the Jewish quarter, Le Marais is now home to the fanciest of all God's chosen people, the Gays.
The night did not disappoint. There were buff men in showers with nothing but a wash cloth to cover their juicy bits, and so much love from my homosexual brothers in arms that was so uplifting that it was contagious. We walked into the Raidd Bar, and it was so hot and steamy, I could fully understand why all boys were half naked. Even better still upon entering you were handed a very strong vodka something that made all the juicy delights even better. Nothing beats going to a place where 1. you know that you're safe to flirt, because the feeling is mutual. We're not going home together and 2. All the men, and I mean ALL THE MEN are FYYYYYYAN! I mean Boyz II Men fine from the early 90's. They were all so everything that I have ever wanted in my life.
At one point I remember leaning over to talk to my new BFF who's name I can now not remember and saying " God I love men" he smiled coyly and said " Yes honey, me too".
So that's it folks, don't let life bring you down, no matter how much it wants to, instead - just go out, enjoy yourself, because you'll miss it. You'll miss all the wonderful things that this amazing life has to offer. And if you're really luckily you'll end up signing "Its All Coming Back To Me Now" by Celine Dion, in the middle of the street, across from city hall. I'm just saying, shit gets real from time to time.
